Axicon Components
Axicons are components which have one flat face and one conical face. Combined with a lens, a ring focus is produced. They are manufactured from ZnSe and the conical face is diamond-machined. Usually the conical face has a shallow angle of a few arc minutes or degrees, but examples up to about 20° are possible.
